Life isn’t

Growth and learning are not an A to B linear mapping. Could it ever be? After all, I did grow up in the hills where straight lines don’t exist, only dips and varying elevations, I guess life is also varying.

I don’t think the life I imagined could have given me these lessons. And that means I couldn’t have grown. Isn’t it the only real purpose we have, to grow? Grow up, grow out, grow kinder, wiser, more the better parts of ourselves?

I’d rather grow in rocky crags than stagnate in a pretty pot. I’ll be durable and wild. I’ll send seeds everywhere and hope the wind blows them where they must go.
